I moved and bought gloves to help with the move. I was breaking down cardboard boxes with a box knife and the knife slipped and went straight on three fingers. No doubt the gloves saved me from several stitches and a visit to the emergency. The knife did not break the box through the glove at all and I was wearing them now for several full days of work heavy and they always seem new. I also like the fact that my hands are not really hot as it was in the 90s. If you hold in your hands to buy these gloves!
WARNING! Under no stretch of the imagination are these "cut-resistant"!I bought these after a kitchen accident (my fault stupid). Tested them by sticking a broccoli stalk down and dragging a finger lightly on a knife. Straight through. I tried the palm, which is something even coating. They are not better than the cotton work gloves! Them returned the next day. If I could have given them no stars, I would....
