Area landfills have become the target of thieves.
Carman RCMP are investigating break-ins at landfill sites near Morden and in the RM of Grey.
Police reported a break, enter and theft at a seldom- used construction trailer parked near a landfill site near Morden sometime in the last 10 months. Several items including an air conditioner, table, wash sink and approximately 30 feet of electrical cable were taken.
Another break and enter occurred earlier this month at the RM of Grey nuisance ground shop.
The overhead door and east office main door were pried open, but nothing appears to have been stolen.
RCMP also are investigating the following incidents from their report for the week ended June 6:
• Wednesday, June 1: RCMP received several calls of people swimming in the river and jumping off bridges on Highway 201.
RCMP noted this is a dangerous practice not only because of the risk of injury but also because it can be a nuisance and distracting to passing motorists. Anyone caught doing this may face charges under the Highway Traffic Act.

(If you know the model number, that would be a big help.) What kind of remote for the car do you have for it? What type of wall button do you have for it? (Does it have lock/light buttons, do the button(s) light up? How old is the motor unit, wall button, and remote? (estimate their ages the best you can) What brand are these parts?
Ok sorry so i should of explained better. so there are 2 things im trying to figure out with this door. 1st thing is that the reciever that comes with the overhead door motor im am trying to make it function so that it will open with the remote control as im pulling in the driveway. 2nd the control that it is on the wall that opens and closes it is a mastercraft from my previous opener. you said it wont work with my overhead door? if i understood you correct. maybe something is missing?...

These cones attach to the spindle which passes through the torqued spring via a roll pin. These cones only move when the garage door is opened or closed as they are secured to the spindle so are not spring loaded them selves. There is a gear wheel at each side of the garage door which runs in a track. The cable is attached to these. I had to remove the cable at one side to replace the gear spindle and managed to remove cable and refit without any hard work? However i need to replace the cone how hard of a job is this? Is it just a case of knocking out the old roll pin and fitting the new cone back into the same place? Any help please preferbly before i do the job there is nothing on the net about this? but then again that is always the way. Yes it is as easy as it sounds however i would suggest using some wd 40 or similar as to not score the hole through the spindle such as i did its an easy task as long as you dont score the spindle by punching out the roll pin it works best if you find a punc that will snuggly fit into the hole but is not to tight as to get it stuck
